Well, that would have been playable. I had all sorts of trouble doing anything, and the rep said "Oh, use the RIGHT stick to steer, the left is gas and brake".

This sorta got me going a bit, but as I said, got me frustrated at this land yacht, and gave up. (to the delightment of those behind me in line)

: panned around the jeep. Forward, and the camera pulled off the jeep
: (panned out). Backward, and the camera dropped behind the jeep (following
: view, sort of).

All the right stick seemed to do was confuse me more, I don't recall ever getting closer or farther away from the jeep, it was always the same vantage. It did rotate the camera though.

: We're both relying on memory, after all - from a maximum
: of three days of playing.

I'd tend to trust you, since I only played it twice, and I'm not tolerant at all when I can't control a game. If the controls really were like that, then it'd certainly improve my opinion of the xbox version. Irregardless, I'd still want it on my PC, where the mouse will rule.

Next time, remind me to meet you at the booth, you seem to know more than the rep. :)
