In Response To: Re: I played halo at E3, my thoughts.... (DeAdLy_cOoKiE) : FINALLY someone being honest and objective! You provided so much information
You're welcome, I can answer more questions if I know them. : What can I say, the left analoge stick should be used
This would have also worked. This is the old 8-bit driving method (like on a Atari 2600). I'm not sure if putting the camera in control of the player is good idea though, maybe if it only could swing in a forward arc. :(Are you telling me that nothing
Nothing for either. The camera pitch was locked when in the jeep. Also, nothing player controlled was flying in the demo. You are dropped off by the pelican dropships, but that's it in terms of flying. I can only assume the control scheme would be similar to the jeep, which would mean I couldn't fly them to save my life. : And ofcourse it's an excellent game, I'd recommend buying it, its a special
I've seen enough to buy it for sure on a PC. I just won't buy it for the xbox. As for the jeep and on-foot controls being similar, yes, I understand where bungie is coming from on this, but it's still not intuitive to me. I got so disgusted I left it for the next guy to play, even though Halo was right there in front of me running and I coulda played it for a bit longer, I gave up. That's how bad it was.
