Yes, a larger budget and more powerful hardware are VERY bad things. Tell me, what did the PC version have to offer, besides online play and mods, neither of which have anything to do with Halo's original story, physics, graphics, etc., that the X-box version can't? As far as gameplay, story, and graphics are concerned, the X-box is easily as capable as the PC in doing all of these things.

So I guess I'm saying that I don't think Halo had any more potential as a game (for me, personally) on the PC than it does on the X-box. From what I understand, Microsoft has no say in what Halo will be. Everything I've read tells me that Microsoft bought Bungie to develop for the X-box, and then left them to do their own thing.

I guess I shouldn't tell you how to feel about this game, but tell me: how did Microsoft fuck up Halo?
