Strange. I did that encounter driving a chain 'hog with a fuel rod gun marine in the passenger seat on Legendary. Wasn't that difficult, and the both marines survived iirc. There seems to be a nice amount of skill involved in keeping the 'hog out of trouble whilst giving your marines a good shot. They always shoot where I want them to, too. Also, it's strange how marines how marines seem to drive less well when you're in the gunner seat compared to if they're in a completely marine-filled 'hog. Anyway.
