In Response To: Graphical evolution of the Halo series. (Gravemind) Just wanted to add a note of thanks for a post that clearly took a fair amount of time and effort. And extra thanks for your sensible decision not to load it with a deluge of modem-stalling images! It's not as if it takes anyone much time to click on your (thoughtfully titled) links. I've actually yet to click them all to get the full value of the post, but in the meanwhile I do have one query. What the heck is 'teabagging'? My dictionary has failed me. : I was giving my post a once over before I went to bed,
Yeah I hate it when I find typos in my stuff too - especially when it's been there for months and months for all to see. When I REALLY want to be careful with the proofreading, I sometimes read through dead slow, moving the cursor along as I go through each word. Takes a while, but you catch things that a read at normal speed would often miss. I find that at normal speed your brain can easily make you see stuff that's not there, because of expectation. It's like some sort of annoying Word auto-complete module executing inside your head. I blame Microsoft. Anyway, good work, and hey, maybe you ought to start having some sort of regular series of articles somewhere, a bit like Narcogen with his stuff at rampancy.net.
