In Response To: Re: Master Chief and Weak Weapons in Halo 2 (Peptuck) Let's ask the man himself, Cody Miller, in regards to the uses of Needlers in Campagin, shall we? In his Gravemind walkthrough alone, we have.... "As the fourth wave appears (only grunts appear from the doors, this time), three brutes will arrive on the lift, one of which—the one with the red flag—wields a brute shot. I'd suggest using your needlers to eliminate the captain as soon as possible....." http://files4.bungie.org/legwalk/Halo2_LgndWalkHBO_gravemind1.wmv ".....really unlucky they'll both appear on your side. Usually, it will be one on each side. Thus, as soon as you kill the third-to-last enemy, switch to dual needlers and be ready to take out any brutes that may appear nearby." "When the battle is over, fill up on grenades and carbine ammo and arm yourself with dual needlers." http://files4.bungie.org/legwalk/Halo2_LgndWalkHBO_gravemind2.wmv "When you kill all but one of the enemies, a second wave of two brutes and three jackals will enter from far door. Fortunately, there's plenty of cover and the needler should make short work of the brutes, as shown in the next video." And, heh, one of my favorite videos...... http://files4.bungie.org/legwalk/Halo2_LgndWalkHBO_journey6.wmv All direct from Cody Miller's walkthrough. The man knows what he's talking about; the needler is an effective weapon in campaign. |
