In Response To: Master Chief and Weak Weapons in Halo 2 (Major Chris Feris) : Hello, Frankie. I would like to know why Bungie wasn't forthcoming about
Oh I very much so beg to differ. Playing as the Arbiter served 2 purposes, imho. -Because the Arbiter was fun to play as, and it gave us a perspective of the Covenant hierarchy -It was a setup for the Covenenant's collapse. What better way to see the destruction of the big group of bad guys than to be one of the key players in it? Of course, one could say that the MC was key in that he killed Regret, triggering the events, but the Arbiter, being the MC's counterpart, was able to offer us a much grander perspective. All in all, I think iot was necessary to advance the plotline as well as they did. : And last, why did Bungie made Halo 2's weapons so weak and sometimes useless
It's called "Making the game playable". If every weapon is super overpowered, it takes a lot of the fun away from campaign, and results in Multiplayer being a matter of luck, not skill. : I hope I can get real answers to real questions from you, Frankie.
