That has always seemed like a reasonable policy to me. I agree it's a reasonable policy; the smart thing to do at this point would be for users outside the States and free of DMCA-like laws, who had an interest in archiving these films, to make their own mirrors for potential redistribution later. I'm going to store a couple of my own favourites this evening. Another point to consider is that the RIAA may not only be asking for the immediate Cease and Desist order as they enjoy doing, but to attempt to force the site owner to give information on who downloaded which video with the threat of a lawsuit... (OK, enough tin-foil hat crap! :))
