In Response To: Re: Earth and Taking/Breaking Prisoners (Peptuck) : I Love Bees isn't officially canon, dude. :P Technically, Joe Staten was asked "If you were to define Halo Canon, what would be cut?" and he said "ILB would not make the cut". As Halo Canon has thus been undefinded, ILB would be logically be canon, otherwise it would be unnescessary to remove it from the canon in the first place. [Has Bungie ever commented on whether that comment was officially sanctioned or not, anyway?] Or something. It made sense when I thought of it. Plus, the UNSC Astrophysics Journals still apply, and as far as I know a scientific publication is not top secret, so technically anyone could read it and tell everybody else on Earth "Coral is 42 LY away, you know?". |
