That's not true. I can show you one easy and new example, Counterstrike, it requires programming for Linux and Windows versions. I assume the same is with the Mac and PC versions, as most games are not released with Mac and PC because they'd have to program from the different things.

That brings up another thought - the models will all be the same unless you download different versions, I wonder how well that would work out with gamers doing it.
