Re: ...and then do it again *SPOILERS!*

In Response To: ...and then do it again (ragereset)

: Still, no point in the campaign has come even close to the difficulty of
: Pelican bay two for mine, though my Legendary campaign is only about one
: third finished thanks to my Team Skirmish and Rumble Pit addictions. One
: possible blip on the radar may be the showdown with the Heretic and his
: two hovering buddies..

Suggestion for this level; I tried it on Heroic and the last fight was almost easy. (After a couple of false starts, that is. :) Even Heroic gives some bragging rights.)

I spent the bulk of the campaign hauling around the Fuel Rod Gun I grabbed during the outside excursion part. I had to switch weapons with allies/bodies like mad on the way to make up for the slot the FRG took up, but that just made the rest of the level more fun IMO. (It triggered a lot of dialog, for instance. It also forced me to get good with grenades.)

I get to the final screen, cutscene cuts in, then I drop out and pull out my Little Friend. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! There's the decoys gone. After that, I only needed to find the Heretic.

-- Steve did die a couple of times trying to grenade the decoys first... once he gave that up, things ran like clockwork.
