In Response To: ...and do it well. (My Experience) (Jamirus99)
: First of all, I'd like to say I had a terrible checkpoint after the first
: hangar bay. I had set myself up on the stationery gun, to try it out, so
: every time I died I had to first get off of the stationery. Secondly, one
: of the marines was in the process of dieing because I took so long to
: get over to the door; the plasma cannons would rip him apart before I
: could kill the operators.
Sounds familiar, Jam.
I managed to score myself a horrific checkpoint at the END of Pelican bay two - the checkpoint popped but there was still one Elite alive, standing about 3 feet away from me and only just realising I was an enemy. So each time I spawned I had a microsecond to try and jump sideways, switch from battle rifle to plasma pistol whilst trying to avoid his sword. I honestly dont know how many times I played through this, since even when I did manage to avoid being killed two seconds after spawning, I then had to kill Mr Sword and then clear all the Covenant lurking down at the bottom of the stairs as well.
Still, no point in the campaign has come even close to the difficulty of Pelican bay two for mine, though my Legendary campaign is only about one third finished thanks to my Team Skirmish and Rumble Pit addictions. One possible blip on the radar may be the showdown with the Heretic and his two hovering buddies..
