How about a Team Assault KIO Thingy?

In Response To: Absolutely. (Finn) How about a new gametype where each team takes turns, like in the Assault CTF gametype. The team on the offense must kill a specific player on the other team. The deam on defense must defend the player. Each team will have a nav point on their objective. Then have offense / defense switch every 3 minutes? And award 1 point to the team to kill the enemy objective, or if the defending team wins, 1 point for defending. That way, each team has a possibility of scoring during each "round", unlike in current Assault, where you don't get points for defense, and 1 team usually gets 1 more round for attacking than the other team, which is rather unfair. That would really put a hell of a lot more value in sticking together as a team, instead of everyone doing their own rambo inpersonation. Also, it would put a lot more thought into strategies for defending a player. I mean, Assault is fun, but it's pretty damn hard to defend your base against a warthog with a gunner, closely followed by a speeding ghost with the flag in it, all while being distance fragged by the enemies' tanks. The necessity to stay at your base to defend your flag receptacle makes it so you'd rarely get a heavy weapon which usually spawns on the middle of the map, and thus makes it even less likely for your team to kill the enemy vehicles. However, while defending a player, you could do it anywhere on the map. Sounds damn fun to me guys, how about you? Also, wouldn't be hard at all to program using modified code from the existing gametypes.
