In Response To: Feedback Needed (SketchFactor) : It's feedback time again - We'd like to hear from YOU! As a game type, "Kill-in-order Slayer games", is fine. However, any Halo multiplayer should be at least as configurable as the multiplayer in "Perfect Dark". Why not give the power to the players - including variable health levels etc.? Two points. Some of you may be saying, "If you wanna play Perfect Dark, go play it". I don't want to play Perfect Dark. I just want the freedom that Rare gave the players in Perfect Dark, in the Halo universe. I love my space marines! I just need the power to change health levels (for my unexperienced brothers and cousins), the types of weapons available etc., - at least to the degree that this was allowed in PD. Second, if tournament gaming concerns the developers (i.e., with that much configurability, who is to say that players won't up their health on the sly for the tournament games etc.), have two menus of pre-set game types (in addition to the create-your-own-game), one with configurability, and ones without. Utilize different backgrounds for the tournament game selection "menus" so that there is no mistaking when setting up a game that it is "tournament" settings. Aside: I once suggested that Halo 2 needed to include a flamethrower and that it shouldn't be much programming work to make that possible. Many people jumped on me for that and one even accused me of being a deadly cookie. I recanted, repented, and made all sorts of grovelling gestures. However, I don't think that I will need to do that with the suggestion above. Being able to change the variables for health etc. should be quite easy to program, shouldn't it? Please give configurability to the players. Michael
