There needs to be a way that keeps people that dont know anything about all the different game types 'away'. [Keep with me, its not all that harsh as it sounds] There are alot of reasons for people not knowing what the different game types mean (as they maybe havent read the description, never have tried to host games on there own, or are totally new to the game for example). So in some way, when joining a game with other settings then slayer or team slayer or CTF (there are just examples ofcourse), there should be a pop-up that informs the player that the game he is about to join has advanced game rules. I mean if you never have played oddball or KOTH then it might be very annoying for all others that are playing. This way atleast a part of the ignorance to new players and trash talk can be avoided. Ofcourse there needs to be an option somewhere where you can disable the pop-ups. So that once you have gotten to know Halo 2 there is nothing that bothers you. Might also be an idea with a second warning, that emerges when joining a game that isnt part of the standard games. 'Veteran gametypes' so to speak. Ofcourse also these, if implemented, should be able to be disabled. Just my opinion.
