In Response To: Your 2004 Halo Predictions (CobaltNova) : One of the great traditions in talk radio is the annual prediction show : hosted by Coast to Coast AM , which asks listeners to call in and give : their predictions on what will happen in the coming year. Well we'd like : to start the same tradition over at CobaltNova and catalogue 100 Halo : related predictions. Then at the end of 2004 we'll review them and see who : was prescient and who was simply suffering from delusional hysteria. My crystal ball says that.... ::ahem:: President Bush will fire VP Cheney after Cheney declares war on the White House kitchen staff for makeing a bad pie. He quickly fills the position with Martin Sheen, because "He showed true personificationiedism of a great leader-like leading figure." Millions of grammer teachers, all over the country, simultaniously explode. : (1) They have to be Halo related. Also, In 2004, I'll look stupid more than usual. : (2) Dont be afraid to add some spice to your prediction. No Prob. : A few simple ideas: Shoot. : * What day will Halo 2 be released on? Febuary 29th, just to be cool like that. : * Will Halo 2 be released on time or delayed? Delayed, then released, then delayed after release, then put on the shelfs to tease those of us who didn't preorder. Then when there's precisely 549 copies sold, they'll yank it completely. Then we realize that the 549 copies are just the E3 demo and then the original Super Mario Bros. slapped on a disc, we were just in awe over the demo, we didn't notice. We'll then check Bungie.net, and it will read as follows: "Halo 2 release date: Before the Apocalypse*" *Hopefully : * Will anyone on the Bungie staff get married and who? The Canimators will hook up, and bentllama will confess his love in Halo 2 as some gay easter egg, pun fully intended. Have you seen those new easter eggs? With those colors somethin's gotta be up!! : * Will Marty ODonnell leave Bungie to work in Hollywood? Yes, but after one sucessful gig in the comedy "American Pie 7: Stifler's revenge" He'll sign up to work on a "Land Before Time" flick and start his life as a hobo. : * Who will win the "x" tournament? Bob. : * Will Halo 3 be announced? Yes, after Halo 14.372-917p. : * How many levels will Halo 2 have? 13 : * Will Sony buy out Bungie? Yes, then sell for a company named "K1CK @$$ g4m3Z0R5!!1!11!" They will put out one smash hit, then Sony will demand sequals, and their series "Porko: This little piggy WENT TO HELL!!!!!!!" will die after two games. : * What is the most amount of money that will be awarded for a Halo : tournament? 3500000 Cents. : * How many chapters will there be at Bungie.net at the end of 2004? 1346457.83563665.9 And a half. : * Will the mod community introduce Pelicans into HPC multiplayer? No, but they will program Yoshi in Halo, and many, many, HPC players will start using italian accents over ventrillo, claiming to be "Mario" or worse, "Luigi." They (the hackers) will take it out because Yoshi bites teammates. Hard. I will make a mod for the warthog that changes the skin to that of a Corvette. I'll be forced to take it out, because people will say I'm over compensating. It's so true.... :'( Also, Halo 2's tagline will be.... (Wait for it) Halo 2: Marla monimna carpolopapapalopo.
