The Flood attack Sentinels in self-defense, but 343GS doesn't seem to have any offensive capability, so he's no threat to them. Since they can't infect him, and he's no (direct) threat, they ignore him. : After I played the Library, I decided to play 343 Guilty Spark (don't ask me
: "Greetings. I am the Monitor of installation 04. I am 343 Guilty Spark.
: Any thoughts? Lots :) I think that humans have been engineered to include some Forerunner memories using Flood DNA, and perhaps over time we no longer have direct access to these memories, even though 343GS expects us to. There's nothing in what he says that implies that he thinks that we don't know about the Flood, or what we should do about them. In fact, Halo: The Flood further reinforces this, when 343GS seems puzzled that you don't know about the Flood.
