but if they started attacking him, they'd never stop. he'd just get more and more flood attacking him, and there'd be masses of flood everywhere he went, and u'd be like "dude, why are they doing that?". and the whole reason the flood are in the level is to pose a threat to YOU. if they lock on to 343 then they cease to be a factor in the level at all, and just take up memory and processing capacity. programming something into their AI that fixes those problems would be an unneccesarry complication, because the whole problem can be elimated, and probably for the better, by just making them ignore 343 GS all together. basically if they were going to make it feasable for the flood to attack 343 GS, they would have had to create a whole different story from their original, which, by the time they were at the point in development where they could address the question, they had almost certainly finalized. the decision would have been an easy one to make. i dont mean to imply that i dont think it would be cool, because of course it would. its just not feasable. just be satisfied that it's the best damn game ever. | |
