The Dolphin uses a IBM "Gekko" Processor, a modified PowerPC architecture running at 400Mhx. Though I'm not sure which PowerPC.
The PSX2 is capable of pushing 66 Million polygons per second. The Dolphin will, as Nintendo says, "Be competetive with anything our friends at Sony can make." So, yes Halo could run on the Dolphin. However, given Nintendo's strict third-party deals on making games for Nintendo systems, Bungie probably won't go for it. Oh, Mage, don't count out the Dolphin just yet. It's going to be available in both Japan and US Fall 2000 at $99! CyberNatas
