In Response To: Halo for Dolphin? (Billiam) Consider this: A MAJOR reason that games with mature themes don't find their way to the 64 is its use of cartridges. Frankly, they are small (however, the RE 2 port is IDENTICAL, movies and all, to the ps version). But, the Dolphin and Psx2 will BOTH use the same medium, a 5.something DVD. This being true, developers discouraged by the 64s lack of space will not have this problem on the Dolpin, so it would be more advantageous to make games for BOTH systems, since it will be a lot easier. And it's not like Nintendo won't let them make violent games. Look at Shadowman and Resident Evil 2, not to mention Turok and Goldeneye. They just don't get as much attention as Zelda and Banjo, which are fun games anyway. Video games help Spiritual Maturity? Umm, I don't think so | |
