In Response To: Re: The Dolphin, PSX2 & Halo (Christian) First off, Dolphin will not cost $99, unless Nintendo wishes to go out of business :) Secondly, Christian you made some pretty uninformed and childish remarks, I'd just like to set some things straight. Now I don't know if you are some kind of psycho who can only enjoy a game if it has "Quake-level" violence. So what if Mario64, Banjo Kazooie, and Zelda all have a "family" tone, who in their right mind cares?!?! Maybe you should go to any gaming site or read any gaming magazine and you will see that absolutely all of them agree that those are all brilliant games. Mario 64 revolutionized 3d platformers, and Zelda64 is perhaps (and according to several gaming publications) the best console game ever created. So why don't you just stop your baseless comments, and maybe play a game before talking trash about it. And about playing as nice as FF or RE, seriously buddy, what are you talking about? I own an N64 and a PSX with FF7, FF8, and RE2. And let me tell you something.. You want to know how much gameplay FF8 has over FF7? NONE!!! They are both outstanding games but they don't revolutionize anything in the way of gameplay, and they are very linear. And what about RE, how many stupid clones of resident evil have we seen so far? One comes out every other day for crying out loud.. And guess what, they are all like the first one, the same thing over and over and over again (just like Tomb raider). How much gameplay is in a game where all you can do is walk through 2d images with a 3d polygonal character anyways, gets very boring very fast. Oh, but I suppose since it has gore upto its elbows you're all for it eh? Hey, you know what? Maybe Nintendo should make DolphinMario rated 'M' for hardcore nudity, and extreme violence, and just forget about the brilliant gameplay, becuase who needs THAT anyways? I bet that would make you real happy, eh?
