Zelda64 did, I'm not a filthy liar. Since I own a PSX with FF7, and FF8 and an N64 with Zelda64, I think I'm more than qualified to compare both systems. If it wasn't for the FF's, I wouldn't have wasted my money on a PSX. And don't pitch Metal Gear as some kind of a masterpiece. It was a good game, don't get carried away though, Goldeneye was infinitely better. > So while you're
umm... ya, ok!? Further proves my point. Although FF's are brilliant games, you are right, in a sense they are just interactive novels. Very linear, and they emphasize story and characters rather than original gameplay. Zelda64 had a simplistic story (FF7, FF8's stories were infinitely more complex), and had little or no character depth. But the gameplay was nothing short of brilliant, and the game's world was the most immersive I have ever played in a game. How can I be wrong when every gaming publication on the face of the earth says the same thing? Oh ya Meteor, I forgot, Zelda64 had family themed advertisments, that's why it sucked... damn, why didn't I realize that before? -CaptShazbot
