For several reasons I doubt that this would happen:

1. Bungie doesn't have any purchasable stocks. They can't just manage a 'corporate takeover', they would presumably have to subvert Jason Jones to sell them the company. (not gonna happen)

2. Bungie loves being free. Ex. no release dates. Complete freedom in whatever they feel like doing. If Microsoft bought them I doubt they would have this freedom.

3. Bungie loves it's fans. I know of no other company that takes it's fans out to lunch. Bungie has often stated that they appreciate their fan support and it would be unlikly that they would abandon all of them for another platform.

4. Who hates Microsoft? thats right raise your hand... Destroying any chance of one of the most popular games ever coming to the PC would not make anybody in the computing industry happy.

5. Bungie (Jason Jones??) needs Money? That's a joke. Just a couple of months ago I bought a Carnage for the rest of us shirt and the Myth:Total Soundtrack. They are raking in the money and I see not reason why they would need more.

Well, concisly stated thats how I feel about the issue. Anything you disagree with... well I don't need to tell you what to do. :)

btw You'll notice the second post by Thanks, Bungie was posted after somebody goaded him into making his rumor more believable.
