Although I have no way of knowing for sure, I sincerely doubt this. Bungie started development on the macintosh platform, and has released their last two titles for the PC. Additionally, they already have playable betas for both the mac and the PC. Trashing this product for either platform would be a very ridicoulous move to make, being as they have already put so much time and effort into making the game for the different platforms.
Additionally, this would be hell for the companies press. They would be trashed by SO many people for "selling out" to MS. Getting horrible press from almost every gaming magazine * what bungie would do.
Well, I have no idea if this *rumor* is true, I hope it isn't, but there's my 10¢ on why it shouldn't be.
