One observation, one question
Posted By: noddy99 <noddy99@aol.com>Date: 5/12/00 4:13 p.m.

Bungie says Halo is about 60% complete, right? From a mathematical standpoint, figuring that they have been working on the game since late '97, that Halo will be finished sometime in late 2002. Think about it. 60% is three fifths of 100%, and three years is 60% of 5 years. So unless this estimate of completion is wildly innaccurate or just based on one stage of the game (environment, multiplayer, single player), we have a while to wait.

Of course, by saying that they began working on it in Nov. '97 they might mean they started putting it on paper or simply thinking about it. They could have actually started programming it mid-1998, and the 60% estimate could be based on the programming of the game. This would change the mathematical release date to early/mid-2001. Care to comment?

Question directed at a Bungie staffer: Will the saliva-inducing Halo movie that is being shown at E3 come to the Halo Internet community? A simple yes or no will suffice.

Thanks.
