I can't comment on Eternal.
In Marathon the Pfhor used the trih xeem during the slave revolts of both the Nakh and Drinniol.
In M2 we learn that the Pfhor used it on the Nakh 6000 years ago. And not a single Nakh lives today.
There is no date for when the Pfhor used the trih xeem on the Drinniol. The Drinniol appear to have been luckier than the Nakh as some appear in M1. Obviously not the ones with a Jjaro cybernetic junction implant.
