Having to explain really basic stuff to different people is really beginning to annoy me. If Tycho "flat out" stated he'll use the tri xeem then he would have said, "I will use the tri xeem to kill Durandal". HE DOESN'T. He takes two statements that have their own meaning and then places them adjacent to each other to SUGGEST a third meaning. He IMPLIES that he will use the tri xeem. That's what "implies" means.
Please make sure you know what words mean before arguing with me about them. I shouldn't have to spend an entire paragraph explaining the meaning of some very basic words.

To make these statements you had to ignore most of what I said, which is frustrating as I already addressed some of your points. Again, you are making a bunch of assumptions here.
1) You're assuming the S'pht'kr will join the battle right away. 2) You're assuming Tycho can't kill Durandal before the S'pht'kr join the battle. 3) You're assuming Thoth/S'pht'kr will side with Durandal. 4) You're assuming they will side against Tycho.
However, nothing in the Text of the game suggests ANY of those things. The only thing we know so far is that in M2 Thoth is True Neutral and will side with whoever is weaker. That's why Durandal faked his death, to ensure that Thoth would side with the humans and eventually summon the S'pht'kr. Once Durandal returns, Thoth actually takes the side of the Pfhor to balance things out. There is nothing in this timeline to ensure that Thoth will side against Tycho or with Durandal as Durandal is still alive and (from Thoth's perspective) might have a chance of winning.
But the biggest assumption you're making is that even if the above assumptions were correct: 5) You're assuming that the main character is aware of any of this. You're saying the timeline is doomed, but how would the main character be aware of that? Show where in the Text it suggests that the main character, or whoever is initiating the time jumps, is aware of how this timeline ends, at the end of Confound Delivery.
So, no, it isn't cut and dry. Not if you set aside your assumptions and actually try to understand what's going on.

Is it? Is that what the dream level is about? Do you think this because there are shadowed, miniature, incredibly slow S'pht'kr models attacking you in the level (which may or may not represent actual S'pht'kr)? (Side note, I never interpreted these to be S'pht'kr, especially with their new activation sound effect. They seem more like automated defenses of a space ship.)
If your interpretation were correct, then the other dream levels would be all about avoiding lava, S'pht, and Enforcers, and that would be the explanation of why the preceding chapter ended in failure. But that's not the case, is it? The grey S'pht and Enforcers in the other dream levels are not a literal explanation of the preceding timeline. If you want your interpretation of one dream level to be correct, then that interpretation should be able to hold up across the other dream levels as well; that's how literary analysis works, and that's what you would use to understand what's going on in the story.
