Forgive me but I'm confused about what you're talking about. Is this to infer that you're not the same Marine from the Marathon? I actually had the impression that you were, from one of Ian's terminal messages on one of the levels after Tastes Like Evil (Sorry but I forget which one).
And does anyone else find it odd that Joshua's facial structure is the same as Admiral Tfear? (human- like head, but with a Pfhor-like three eyes [eye sockets?] on his forehead). It what made me intuitively think that the entities Joshua and Michael could be construed as Jjarro, or Wrkncacnter. (Come to think of it, I don't think they could be Jjarro, since in one terminal message that I explicitly remember, one of the brothers talk of the Jjarro in the third-person, as if they were entities unrelated to themselves.)
