: Speaking of mines, this is a subject unto itself. I am not aware of any other
: major scenario (note my disclamer this time) with this type of weapon.
: We've seen weapons with delays before, but one that is activated by
: walking over it is something new. I'm not sure how this is done from an
: Anvil standpoint and would love to hear more about this from other
: participants. The use of mines to blast open rock walls, however, is a
: mirrage. The insertion points are simply switches and tabbing them starts
: a cascade of events - most important of which is the lowering of a series
: of platforms, providing access beyond that point. What I'm not sure of is
: how Ian makes use of your existing mine supply.

This is one of the things you can do with Fux- Select which item a switch consumes. However, I'm also confused, because when looking at the switch with Forge it's identified as a chip insertion switch, and the switch on Floating in Agony is also a chip switch but consumes an actual chip.

The mine as a weapon is simply a projectile with zero velocity. Its initial position is set to near the marine's feet, and its animation produces the beeping sound.
