: Be careful about what you read. I'm not saying that paranormal phenomena do
: not exist, but noe of the so-called scientific explanations proposed for
: how psychics can foresee the future or read people's minds has any real
: scientific backing what-so-ever. Do I sometimes feel like I'm being
: watched, only to turn around and see someone staring at me? Of course. Is
: it because I can sense their brain waves in space? Doubtful, given the
: incredibly weak nature of brain waves, but not impossible. Are there other
: explanations for this? Yes, I might sense their body heat, or perhaps
: there is a very subtle disturbance in the lighting of my environment. Or
: maybe it's something in subspace (pure SF here), or maybe I sense his soul
: (pure religion). It's really amazing how much hard "science" is
: out there, particularly on the net, to explain away paranormal phenomena -
: science that sounds plausable to the lay public but that has no basis in
: reality. BTW, being able to sense someone's brainwaves is the equivalent
: of being able to see your flashlight beam reflected off the surface of the
: moon.
You don't have to believe me ;)
This is something I think you should read. Not about psychics though. It's an explaination of remote viewing, which I don't think you believe in either, but give it a try, ok? At least it is interresting... it does include so-called scientific explanations.
