I thought I fixed that. When I was making the map, I added the stream that waterfalls back to the beginning of the map and had to remove a stair. I messed with the elevations of the stairs to allow you to jump over that missing stair, but I guess it didn't work. It is possible to get out of there, I think, by going down that stream and getting over the waterfall (although it returns you to the very beginning of the map), but for now, just stay out of that pool.

I'm amazed that I never actually checked that. Sorry if it really messed with your playing experience. But as for not being able to complete the map, just keep thinking upwards. You'll find it eventually.
