Bungie Connections

Hey, don't know if this is the best place to post it, but I found it interesting
so here goes.

I remember ages ago reading a Bungie interview saying all their game worlds
were connected somehow, but the Myth connection always vexed me (they
mentioned something about The Great Rift, but that seemed a false lead).

Anyway, finally in the Halo 2 Bonus disc is the Myth-Halo-Marathon connection.
In one of the deleted scenes, the prophets are showing The Arbiter the convenant
scrolls of history, and one of the scrolls shows all the races that form the convenant.

There are the usual (elite, grunts, hunters etc), but also included are Hulks (from
Marathon) and Ghouls (from Myth). Interestingly, not Phor.
