| Halo arangement to protect Earth? (Ark?) | |

In Response To: Theory: Delta Halo is near Earth (replay) Great read, and great explanation of the intertwining story plots, ONI, and actual game events. *SP if you haven't played* A few things to add:
Think of it in military terms. Before the invention of boarding craft, were shores defended by legions of troops? No. The oceans were ignored and considered a natural boundary. I think empty space is this "boundary" Is the galactic center considered as the center of the galaxy? Maybe it isnt. Maybe to the Forerunners, they considered earth as their "Center of existance." Ark= Very important, so wouldnt it go to the most protect spot? If there is a steep cliff acting as a natural border... do you have to build a wall? Think of the obscure Halo arangement as protection in the areas that need protection the most. Perhaps they were placed in the areas the flood would considerably travel (closest planet-to-planet hopping oppertunities) In order to get to the Ark.
