After all if my theory is right it would be : moving to cover 04's blast radius. Then that would mean that Earth has some sort of base or whatever that tracks where the Halo's are...Hmmm...I think we may be on to something... I definately think the rings can move-I maen come on! anything that can wipe a huge slice of the galaxy of all sentient life MUST have something up its sleeve...I dunno that it is slipspace travel-I think it might be a little unstable to compact a world into a tiny slip-bubble-hmm I wonder...what if each Halo had one of them funky ass crystals, or maybe something similar that could expand the bubble and increase the speed of the jump. On a side note-WHY would the rings move if there is no reason to? Obviously Delta Halo is very close by-yet we haven't discovered it at that time. So maybe it wasn't there until recently. So if it HAD moved, then why? Maybe to cover 04's blast radius? I dunno...It'd be hard to say without knowing more about the locations of the rings...I still say 343's little diagram isn't to scale...yah know-objects in hologram are larger than they appear....:P Also-this whole Halo's can move theory would help explain why the covenant, who undoubtably had slipspace travel for quite some time, has had such difficulty in finding the rings. Now you see 'em, now you don't. :P
