The top right quadrant is a CHINESE (mandarin) 8, not Japanese. The bottom left quadrant is a Sumerian Cuneiform 14. Be aware that this is different from the Babylonian cuneiform representation of 14 - that's the one you'll find most often on the web. mnemesis pointed out this image about a week ago:
