---Hmm. Well, maybe not. Chelsea told us earlier that "my puzzle is the lock I found." This _is_ the puzzle, right? and beyond _that_ is the story that can't be described in words. I'm still thinking we're faced with the lock. I like your approach, and it is an intriguing thought, though.

---Miguel has suggested (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) that Claude said, somewhere?, that only the prize is rooted in Marathon. So maybe if we get to an ultimate answer and see the prize, the Marathon fans will all go and say "wow!" or something ; ). I don't think this puzzle was made to exclude those who haven't played the Marathon games much/at all though. I think it's accessible to all Bungie fans, knowledge base of all the games or not. Chelsea seems to have hinted that this is a counting/logic/numbers etc.-type puzzle.
