Hasley isn't going to let emotionless killing machines run rampant on the battlefield is she? She is creating a Frankenstein's Monster to save humanity from the fate of a machine controlled, emotionless future. Although the Spartans don't display much when it comes to emotions, they still have them and deep down they are still human. : I never thought about that side of things, guess I just mistrust government, : so naturally they are my first point of blame when it comes to rebellion. Perhaps the government is better at recognizing potential problems and acting on the solutions sooner. Like that Tom Cruise movie where the psychics can see murder before it happens and so the murderer gets arrested before he/she can actually commit the crime. The poor rebels don't even know they are guilty because they haven't committed the crime yet, so to speak. : Btw, how does that explain the cumbersome early Mjolnir exoskeletons that : were deemed a failure by ONI? This suggests that they were attempting to : build suits but hadn't yet created robots yet. Only AI's. I have no idea about this. Is the FoR universe similar to Aliens where the corporations control everything? Where is the urgency, the competition? If the MJOLNIR armor project fails, what other project will get the funding? If Spartan II fails, what else will be built instead? If only I had the answers to these questions... : -Hedge, enjoyed the latest chapter of your fanfic by the way:) ;)
