Finally Someone With Reason

In Response To: Why are people so sure Halo will be ported to PC? (MeStinkBAD) : These are just my opinions, but why do people so convinced that Halo is : coming to the PC (and Mac) platforms. Especially so soon. And the only : information about a port has been incredibly vague remarks from a few : Bungie employees. I've heard nothing from Microsoft. And I doubt if a port : were done, Microsoft would sub-contract it to be done by a 3rd party : developer. It takes a lot of work to port a console game to PC, and : Microsoft would surely rather have Bungie focusing on the XBox. Agreed. I believe it will happen (just not soon), but they are so quite and vague in their comments. And the whole thing with the MS PR guy, I believe. I'd doubt he would sit there getting interviewed and lie about what he said about Halo PC port status. Like Matt has suggested, with no proof to backup that he was lying. At least, tangible proof. : I'd predict that fall 2003, Halo for PC will ship. But it'll probably be : based more on the upcoming Halo adaption for Microsoft's XBox live online : service. I'd go along with a late 2003 release as a guess.
