If Boba wasn't there then Luke would still have his hand, and not know Vader was his father and in turn never fight him on the 2nd Death Star, and never turn him back to the light side, therefore destroying the Emperor (The first one at least). Well theres my nice Star Wars knowledge for you. As a sidenote, I partially agree with the seeing his face and all, but I think it should be done like the game. Not until he takes a break does it ever happen.
