In Response To: Re: The Flood (Louis Wu) Ah, but you see, I think there are large Flood types in there with them :) The large ones come out after the Viral Forms go in...my theory is so the Warrior Flood don't damage potential hosts maybe? Then once they figure that you need to be extremely damaged before you're infected, they pour on the warrior types and viral type simultaneously.(Remember, 343 Guilty Spark in that enclosed room is where you first encounter the Flood, thus they're unfamiliar with your type and proceed with their normal procedure - Viral Forms then Warrior.)
