The networking model used in Halo 4 coop is still basically the same one used since Halo 3, though it *might* be less prone to freezing instabilities, depending on who you ask. But the latency issues, which are the real kicker, are pretty much the same. If the connection between two people is long and high-latency, the client is fairly screwed no matter how stable the connection is and no matter how high each of your bandwidths are.
