I once played Halo 3 with a mate from the UK and the : lag was horrible. I couldn't watch the recorded game because it was so : jerky and was amazed that I was able to hit anything. It put me off coop : play. Lag remains an issue, but I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as Halo 3. There's always little oddities it seems. One of my friends just a few houses away just cannot play any Halo co-op mode in any game because of horrific lag, even when it's just me and him. I get smoother games playing with people across the Atlantic. He's on at least 10mb Virgin Cable as well and other games like ME3 or GoW are absolutely fine. Overall though, I've found H4 to be fine.
