In Response To: New post at Misriah Solutions: Quitting Halo *IMG* (ncsuDuncan) Way too much stick. What if I get disconnected from an Invasion game right at the start? Then I have to wait 24 minutes (or some indeterminate amount of time) to be able to play team games again? That's worse than your three strike betrayal penalty! WAY overboard. And you want to deduct credits, in addition to losing EVERYTHING from the game? The player has already lost their time, you want to take away any sense of progress to commendations as well, and in addition to that lower them further than what they were before? They already lost loads! That's ridiculous. And your betrayal penalties punish the entire team: imagine getting a player on your team that took an extra 3 seconds to respawn just because they got a couple of accidental betrayals that people didn't forgive them for in the previous game? That would suck! Not to mention, if the player doesn't die very often (perhaps they were hoarding the sniper or got the betrayals in a tank) the level of 'punishment' will vary all over the place from nothing to an extra half a minute at the respawn screen. You're letting your sense of revenge completely get the better of you.
