In Response To: Re: December 2011 REACH Population Report (Revenant1988) rearranged a little : Yeah, it sucked when you would miss one of the weekends in H3 you wanted to
I don't have FyreWulff's list handy, wasn't there one that only showed up four times? The point is that you could be waiting months or years, and then still miss it. : True, but see, you could always play that game in customs, just like how it
It's Halo because you're playing a Halo game, if you don't mind me reverting to Captain Obvious for a minute.
: I like the way it was done in Halo 3 because it was a treat, something to
No one's making you play it, though. To me it's like being a kid and not being allowed to have ice cream except for dessert and on special occasions versus being an adult and getting to have ice cream whenever you dang well please. You still (almost definitely) aren't going to have it all the time, and if you do you'll encounter some problems, but having that freedom, well, it feels good, and sometimes you want ice cream on a Wednesday morning. I especially don't think a few people should be able to say "we want this to be a special thing, so you can't have it, you have to wait 5 weeks and then you get it for a weekend". If you think Grifball and Infection should be in some other playlist, together with other, shall we say, offbeat gametypes, I wouldn't have a big problem with that, but some people would.
