True, but see, you could always play that game in customs, just like how it originated in H2. I personally do not think griff ball is what halo is all about. From a game play perspective, it has nothing to do with halo at all. What makes it like halo is the fact that someone came up with, tried it in customs, and got a bunch of friends to take it to the next level where it was played on the honor system, and it still worked.

I like the way it was done in Halo 3 because it was a treat, something to look forward to as a nice change or diversion from everyday play. By giving these game types their own playlists, you've basically taken something that was dessert, and made it the main course. That's ok every now and then, but once you can have it all the time you begin to not want it anymore.

Yeah, it sucked when you would miss one of the weekends in H3 you wanted to play, but it would be back again.
