Mendez and the other Spartans were standing behind the camera in Halo 3 the whole fucking time! Gah!

And on another note, I absolutely LOVE how pertinent Halsey's journal is to the plot. Made me feel so proud of myself for purchasing it and memorizing enough of it to catch some of the more obscure references.
Can we, mayhap, see Miranda's journal next? That brief mention of it certainly got me curious what would be in hers.

And I agree, an arum would be one of the sweetest things Microsoft could possibly sell right now. I'm going to strongly urge that they make more in-universe objects purchasable, and on the same level of quality and assembly we saw from Halsey's journal. I will buy every last one.

Perhaps this one just went over my head, but when the Engineers were referring to "The Object"...? My thoughts immediately leapt to whatever Chief is approaching in H4 and never returned from that thought.
