In Response To: News from the Halo Panel at the NY Comic Con (Simpsons Rule) : During the question and answer session it was : confirmed that you will require Kinect to see the "analyze" : mode. Insert sad panda image here. Someone on the panel tried to reason : that they couldn't add a button that would make the "analyze" : mode appear but realistically I think this is just Microsoft's way of : pushing more Kinect units. That was me! I was really pissed off by their answer. There was absolutely no reason for them to not use the D-Pad to put it in Analyze mode. It's obvious that they were given a shit ton of money from Microsoft to bolster sales, but the excuse of trying to keep the controls the same was absolute bullshit. I don't remember pressing the back button to change my graphical options in the original. It's not THAT big a deal, but for 343's first step out the gate, that is a real bad trip-up. If anyone's got an extra kinect they'd sell for cheap, hit me up. :O
