First, 405th did NOT creat this, an outside studio called Blue Realm did. 405th simply wrote a piece on it as thats what their community does is make awesome happen.

I would say that it is a variant of the new armor. We already know from a few sources that its going to be very modular, but we don't exactly know what or how drastic it will be.

Maybe, the version we see that they had commissioned is the base or something like that. If they had it commissioned, I would wager that at this point, you are looking at the final model + or - a small detail change here or there.

Again guys, I use the phrase “cautiously optimistic”. We don't know what’s to come yet.
