In Response To: Halo [R]Evolved - Two Betrayals (SonGoharotto) : In this battle, Flood will spawn endlessly from the two doors in the trench, : until the player moves on past the cave ahead. Eventually, the Covenant : will fall, with or without the player's interaction. When is mostly a : matter of difficulty level. On Legendary, expect to have Combat Forms : dogging your heels for a bit. Have you beat CoD4 or 5 on veteran? It gives you a new-found hatred for infinite spawns of bad guys. I like the effect this one has on story though, so I'm reluctant to call it unacceptable. Since the rewrite here has been beacon happy so far, would you entertain the idea of one more in this battle? If the player loiters here for more than a few minutes, Cortana can drop a beacon and lead it with some nagging dialogue like "Chief, we need to move on through that cave. If the Monitor figures out what we're up to, he may attempt an ambush at the next structure." Otherwise, I love what you've been doing with the rewrite.
