In Response To: Halsey's Journal Sanskrit Text (Stephen L. (SoundEffect)) Somewhat unrelated, but here's something that's been bothering me for quite a while: During the closing cutscene for The Package, Dr. Halsey says "this AI is its custodian", referring to Cortana and the artifact. While it could simply mean that Dr. Halsey is using Cortana to retrieve the coordinates for Halo, I read it as Cortana being a Forerunner-made AI that came with the artifact, sort of like the curator in a museum. Am I overextending this? Is Cortana Forerunner-made, or not?
